2025-26 MABO Senior Clinics 


CLINIC DATES & LOCATIONS

Live ZOOM Online Clinic:
For Officials with 5 or more years of MABO experience

The MABO Zoom clinics will be capped at 90 participants each, so register now before they fill up. 
  1. Saturday, October 18 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (online access will open at 8:45 am)
  2. Sunday, November 16 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

In-Person Clinics (Half-Day):
For Officials with 4 or fewer years of MABO experience  

The MABO In-Person clinics will be capped at 30 participants each, so register now before they fill up. 
    1. FULL Saturday, October 4 – 8:30 AM at Norberry-Glenlee Community Centre, 26 Molgat Ave (Winnipeg) FULL

    Senior Clinic Dates

    If you’re not from Winnipeg and meet the Zoom eligibility requirements, you may register for the Zoom session.
    1. NEW Saturday, November 1 - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Onsite Clinic - Portage Collegiate, 65 3 St SW, Portage la Prairie, MB
    2. NEW Friday, October 31 - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Onsite Clinic, Sunrise Education Centre, 344 Second St North, Beausejour.

    What to bring to all in-person MABO Clinics

    • Registrants need to bring, print, or have available on a tablet or laptop the current FIBA rulebook, if they have one, to the clinic.
    • Please bring a whistle, a referee shirt, black shorts or pants, and black runners.


    MEMBERSHIP FEES
    Please note that payment must be submitted and received before the clinic you plan to attend.

    Payment will not be accepted in person at any clinic or at the Basketball Manitoba office.  If you need to arrange an alternative payment method to the online option, please contact MABO Treasurer Stan Majowski at skmajowski@shaw.ca.


    MEMBERSHIP & CLINIC NOTES

    All new and returning MABO members are required to register or renew their membership through this system and pay their annual dues as listed below. (A $10 late fee is added to all membership fees received on or after November 1st of each year)


    MEMBERSHIP & CLINIC FEES - ALL REGIONS 

    • The preferred payment option is eTransfer.  Please help MABO reduce our service fee costs by using eTransfer to info@maboref.com instead of PayPal.

    CBOC NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP FEE

    • You will be required to pay your $40.00 CBOC National Membership Fee by credit card when you register using the RAMP online registration system.

    FIRST TIME MABO REGISTRANT FEE

    • To assist our new Senior officials transitioning from the JODP, the registration for your first MABO year will only be a $70.00 fee payable to MABO (plus the $40.00 that was paid to CBOC via the RAMP system when registered), and if paying by PayPal, it will be a $75.00 fee payable to MABO.  This is only for first-time Senior officials who have never registered with MABO in the past.  

    ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP FEE
    • These total fees are $55.00, payable to MABO (plus the $40.00 that was paid to CBOC via the RAMP system when you registered). This is primarily for individuals who are not officiating, however, who partake in MABO. This fee will include membership in Basketball Manitoba and CBOC. You can purchase your Associate Membership Fee directly by utilizing eTransfer to info@maboref.com. If you would like to pursue other payment options, please contact MABO Treasurer Stan Majowski at skmajowski@shaw.ca.


    MABO PAYMENT OPTIONS

    ETRANSFER OPTION to info@maboref.com

    We encourage all members to pay their membership fees via eTransfer from your financial institution.  Please send your payment to info@maboref.com.  Use "basketball' as the passphrase if needed and note the name of the MABO member in the memo line if the payment is coming from another person.  

    • Early Bird Membership Fee Rate: $105.00 up to November 1, 2025

    • Regular Membership Fee Rate: $115.00 on or after November 1, 2025

    • First Time MABO Registrant, $70.00

    • Associate Membership Fee Rate: $55.00

    CREDIT CARD / PAYPAL OPTION

    If you prefer to pay via credit card, MABO uses PayPal to process these payments. You do not need a PayPal account to process the payment, as you can use a major credit card when prompted.

    • Early Bird Membership Fee Rate: $110.00 up to November 1, 2025
    • Regular Membership Fee Rate: $120.00 on or after November 1, 2025
    • First Time MABO Registrant, $75.00

    ALTERNATIVE PAYMENTS

    • Contact MABO Treasurer Stan Majowski (at skmajowski@shaw.ca) to arrange to pay by Cheque.  This year, there is no additional surcharge to pay by cheque.

    • Cash will not be accepted for any membership fees.

    • Payments will not be accepted at the Basketball Manitoba office nor at any in person clinics

    INSURANCE: 

    JUNIOR OFFICIALS: 

    • If you are a Junior Official (JODP), you must contact your MABO assignor to receive a recommendation to attend a Senior MABO clinic.

    BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 2025 - REGISTER IN 5 EASY STEPS

    STEP 1 - Create or log in to your MABO RAMP account

    STEP 2 - Complete the required registration prompts, including your contact information and membership options. Refer to the RAMP User Guide if you need help.

    STEP 3 - Pay your CBOC membership fee in the RAMP system.

    STEP 4 - Pay your MABO membership fee via eTransfer or credit card

    STEP 5 - Subscribe to the MABO News email list found on the right side of all pages on the MABO website.
