FIBA Free Throw Mechanics
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has specific mechanics for free throws to ensure consistency and fairness in the game and CBOC has adopted the mechanic as well.
The Mechanic is, the trail official no longer signals a successful free throw or chops in time after an unsuccessful final free throw. Instead, after giving the "1/2/3" free throw signal, the official's hands are dropped to the side with no further signals. This change aims to streamline the process and reduce unnecessary movements by officials. We will be using this mechanic starting now.
