It is with sadness that we share the passing of Robert (Bob) Fallis on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the age of 80.
Bob dedicated his life to the community. An educator with the Winnipeg School Division, he spent years teaching high school and making a difference for countless students. In the basketball community, Bob was equally well known as a long-time MABO referee in the Winnipeg School Division and as the convener of the annual Winnipeg Invitational Tournament. He gave his time, his steady presence, and his love of the game to generations of athletes, coaches, and officials.
Bob will be remembered by his daughters, Jennifer and Kristen (Scott), and his granddaughter Anna, along with extended family and many friends.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Ridge later this spring, with details to follow.
Condolences to the Fallis family and all who are grieving this loss. The family has also shared their gratitude to the ICU staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their compassionate care during Bob’s illness.
