MABO has announced the application process for members to work at the high school provincial championships this March. MABO is committed to serving all provincial high school tournaments with the best available officials. Your assignor will nominate officials they feel have worked hard and have earned the honour of working Provincials. Once you are nominated, you are asked to complete the following.
Please find the High School Provincial Championships Application Form below. As part of our process for selecting officials for the Provincial Varsity and Junior Varsity high school championships, please complete the information below and submit it to the Provincial Supervisor of Officials on or before January 31, 2026.
Officials will be selected from the submitted applications based on availability and qualification for a provincial appointment. Factors considered in selecting officials include, but are not limited to, the following: NOCP qualifications, the capability of officiating at the proposed tournament, has been considered a leader both on and off the court, has written the CBOC exam for their current level, has received a current evaluation and gets a recommendation from his/her local assignor/board.

You may be selected to officiate at one or more tournaments based on your eligibility. All Championships are 3+ day tournaments starting as early as noon on Thursday. You must make yourself available on the days that may require overnight stays.
