Hello everyone.
After 12 amazing days in Russia at the World University Games my time is coming to a close. I leave tomorrow and have a full day of travel This trip has been truly outstanding
Tonight - Tuesday at 930 pm Russia time which is Tuesday at 1230 pm Winnipeg time, the Men's gold medal game will take place. I have been selected to officiate this world final! The game will feature the home country Russia playing against a surging Australian team that has upset a couple of teams to make it to the final. It should make for a great game in the packed Basket Hall with an obvious Russian crowd!
The game can be scene if interested on line at www.fisu.tv. I am pumped up for the opportunity to work the game and proud to represent Canada here at the games! Being selected out of 49 officials to do the final game is truly an honour.
Thanks to you all for receiving my emails over the last couple of weeks and the many returned emails back Its really a grind getting through this and always great to hear from back home!
See you all soon!
