Lacrosse Manitoba is seeking officials to consider giving the sport of lacrosse a consideration as a referee.  Details include...

  • Timelines : Programs run 3rd week in April until the last week in June, all games including playoffs will be done before July 1st
  • Ages : Must be 14 years of age to officiate
  • Games & Pay : Novice and Pee Wee games are 1 hour in length ( 3 x 12 min periods ) Pay is $20.00 per official.  Bantam are 1 ½ hour games, ( 3 x 15 minute periods ) pay is $37.50 per official
  • Mentors / Supervisors : are provided all during the year especially for first and second year officials , the bulk of the mentorship will be the first few weeks with ongoing supervision, written / verbal reports will be provided to every official during the year
  • Uniform : Officials are required to wear a black officials jersey ( cost $25.00 ) and available at the clinic . Black shorts may be worn for Nov/ Pee Wee , black long pants for level 3 and higher
  • Helmet : This is the first year that the CLA has made helmets mandatory for ALL officials
  • Cost : There is NO cost for the officials clinic  for ALL first year officials, we try and make it as cost effective as possible so that all they need to purchase is a jersey
