The awards are geared towards those who have plans to further their education in college or university and intend on pursuing excellence in playing, officiating, convening or coaching basketball. The award will aim to recognize those who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to basketball and have been an ambassador for the WMBA by promoting the league in the community.
Up to $500 is available for the selected male and female applicant. The last date for submission is May 15th. For more information including an application form, check out the Foundation Scholarship Section on the WMBA web site.
